Run for Their Lives is an organization that is supporting walking or running groups all over the world to bring awareness to the hostages in Gaza. Teaneck is one of the largest Jewish communities and we wanted to be represented, somehow, in this effort. Every Sunday morning, rain or shine, or in the freezing cold, we will be out there walking. If we, or our own family, was being traumatically held hostage, we would want to know the world wouldn’t forget us and run for our lives too. We hope that we won’t have to do this every week and one day the hostages will all be returned.
