Teaneck Council Honors Summer Travel Champs

All who attended last Tuesdays Teaneck Town Council meeting witnessed a historic event. Mayor Lizette Parker and Councilman Mark Schwartz (& JLBC Co-Publisher) made a special presentation to the TBO 8U Travel Summer Team. The boys and coaches were lauded for not only representing Teaneck, but also for winning the 2014 Paramus Tournament Championship.

The Council called up Manager David Ruditzky to detail what goes into being a Summer Travel player. Ruditzky explained to the council and attendees the intensive practice and game schedule and that this was the first Teaneck TBO team of any age group to win the Paramus Summer Championship.

All coaches and players were called to the front and presented with a certificate and congratulatory wishes from the entire council.

The players were thrilled to learn that they were on TV and were going to be in the Jewish Link!
