Teaneck Doghouse Sportstar of the Week: Jacob Karoly

The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Teaneck Doghouse would like to recognize 9 year old Jacob Karoly as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Yeshivat Noam rising fourth grader lives in Teaneck and currently plays in the AIFL. He is also a terrific hockey player. Jacob’s sports role model is Stephen Curry because he is amazing to watch play and also helps people off the court. His favorite sports are football, baseball, basketball and hockey. Jacob’s greatest sports accomplishment so far is scoring a few touchdowns in one game. His favorite athlete is Odell Beckham Jr. because he’s an exciting player to watch. One of Jacob’s earliest sports memories is going to his first baseball game when he was 7, and one of his favorite sports memories is when he hit his first home run. When Jacob isn’t playing sports, he loves to play Xbox, either Madden or NBA 2K. He said that the best thing about being a Sportstar is seeing himself in the newspaper and talking to his friends about it.

The Teaneck Doghouse Sportstar of the Week will receive a $15 gift certificate to Teaneck Doghouse. Please send nominees for an upcoming Teaneck Doghouse Sportstar of the Week to [email protected].
