The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Teaneck Doghouse would like to recognize 8-year-old Jared Glick as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Yeshivat Noam third grader is having a great year for his MGBL team, Design Statements, averaging 10 points and five assists per game. Earlier this month, to highlight an 18-point game, Jared hit a half-court shot as the clock winded down to zero. When asked about Jared, his coach, Jordan Glick, told the JLNJ “He has great court sense for an 8-year-old, loves to get his teammates involved in the game and never stops playing tough defense no matter what the score is. Also Jared has developed into the leader of his team because of the tenacity on the court.”
