The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Teaneck Doghouse would like to recognize 8-year-old Joshua Ross as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Yeshivat Ben Porat Yosef second grader has been a key contributor on his AIFL team (the Patriots). Josh has scored many touchdowns, and more importantly, he really displays a concern for his teammates and cheers them on, celebrates their own victories. This past sunday, the Patriots topped the Dolphins 30-0, and Josh made two interceptions and scored a touchdown. Coach Dino Mattessich told the JLNJ, “Josh is a coach’s dream. A superstar athlete that embodies the philosophy of ‘One Team, One Goal.’”
