The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Teaneck Doghouse would like to recognize 7 year old Lielle Skoczylas as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey second grader just completed an amazing season of MGBL.
Lielle, yasher koach on this honor and another great season. Who is your role model and why?
My mother because she is so nice to me and does everything for everyone.
What is your favorite sport?
Basketball.
What is your greatest sports accomplishment?
Scoring six baskets in one game.
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
My favorite athlete is my brother Aron. I love watching him play and he teaches me how to be a better player.
What is your pregame routine, if you have one?
My pregame routine is to eat a good breakfast and practice.
What is your earliest sport memory?
Watching my brothers MGBL games.
What do you like to do when you are not playing sports?
When not playing sports I like to color and play with my younger brother, Netanel.
What is the best thing about being a Sportstar?
The best thing about being Sportstar is making my dad proud.
