The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Teaneck Doghouse would like to recognize 14-year-old Nate Savitz as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The recent Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy graduate, recently completed a great season as goalie for the JKHA Cobras, capped off by winning the MVP of the 2018 Weiselberg Tournament. During the tournament, he lead the Cobras to a 4-0 record, only giving up two goals against in 92 minutes of play and 3-3 on shootout attempts to close down the final win over RYNJ. His play was the main factor in why Kushner was victorious and the unanimous choice among the committee for MVP.
