Chani (Hannah) Jaskoll of Teaneck came in First Place in the Watercolor Division for her work “Pears & Apples,” in the 51st Annual New Jersey Senior Citizens Art Show. Previously she came in first in the Bergen County competition to qualify for the state competition. Chani Jaskoll has been painting for many years and loves watercolor. She had previously won the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey Art Competition in 2014 and went to Israel to meet with other Israeli artists. She is the very popular art teacher at the SAR Academy and worked for many years as the head of arts and crafts and Camp Moshava. She also is a popular educational consultant and former interior decorator. Chani holds her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the City College of New York in art and art education. Her works have been displayed at various art exhibitions in New Jersey and Israel. Congratulations to her for this wonderful award.
