(Courtesy of Teaneck Swim Academy) The Teaneck Swim Academy celebrated the end of the fall 2022 swim team season with intramural competitions. Ribbons and trophies were awarded to students with the best times in breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle and butterfly stroke.
The goal of the swim team is to refine and develop strokes. Students are prepared for competition by teaching two-hand touches, flip turns and how to perform in a timed race.
When asked what makes the swim team special, Eden Fenner said, “It gives me energy and helps me stay calm.” Shoshan Ehrlich said what she likes most is “making new friends!”
The team is very much looking forward to the 2023 winter season of the swim team, which starts at the end of January. There are separate teams for boys and girls.
