Teaneck to Honor Camp Mesorah for Business Leadership

For the second year in a row, the Town of Teaneck, along with Mayor Mohammed Hameeduddin, will be honoring Camp Mesorah for its business leadership and growth in the Bergen County with an open house at Dougie’s this coming Monday, November 28, from 6:30 until 9 p.m. The event is open to all current and new Mesorah campers, their parents, staff members as well as any families interested in learning more about Camp Mesorah.

In addition to being a chance for campers and staff members to meet and catch up, Mayor Hameeduddin will welcome the campers. Mayor Hameeduddin said, “We are very proud to have such a fantastic camp like Camp Mesorah make their ‘winter home’ in Teaneck—and we know that so many of the campers and exceptional staff members come from our Teaneck, Bergenfield and New Milford communities, we wanted to recognize Mesorah again.”

Camp Mesorah Director Ari Katz commented, “We are so excited to be having this event again this year. Last year, we had many ‘new to Mesorah’ campers join, allowing them and their parents to meet our Mesorah staff and other campers even before camp started. It really made them feel a part of the Mesorah family even before the first day of camp. Plus, all of our campers and staff members love having the chance to meet up during the winter. We feel that Mesorah is more than just a summer camp—Mesorah is a ‘full year’ experience, with campers and staff getting together whenever they can. We are glad we have another chance to do so!”

This is a community-wide event—everyone is invited. Campers, staff and parents are welcome to come and meet the girls’ head counselor Ronit Wenger, boys’ head counselor Rabbi Chaim Hagler, camp directors Ari Katz and Joseph Stansky, and other members of the Mesorah administrative staff.
