On Monday, November 5, Teaneck residents, and those in surrounding communities, will have the opportunity to help family and friends by participating in a blood drive. Hosted by the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Squad, the event is managed by Montvale-based Vitalant, and will be held at 835 Windsor Road in Teaneck, on Monday, November 5, from 3-8 p.m.

While advance registration is recommended, walk-ins are welcome.

Those donating must weigh at least 110 pounds, eat prior to donation and remember to drink plenty of water before and after they donate. Also, a valid form of identification is required.

Each donation can potentially save as many as three lives.
