At Bruriah Middle School, teachers infuse technology and creativity into the classrooms. Sixth graders wrote songs and created google slide presentations to review the rules of decimals and fractions. In parsha class, girls worked in groups and explored specific פסוקים and רש”יs in פרשת משפטים. Parsha came alive with technology, divrei Torah and a focus on the main message of משפטים, which is respect for each individual. Seventh grade student teams are creating apps designed to solve real world problems. This in-school technology project combines the problem solving process and the input-output-store-process model of a computer. Eighth graders are using Canva, Publisher and other tools to create a meaningful and beautiful yearbook. Bruriah loves to see its students enjoying this enhanced learning process!
