Tenafly Chabad Academy

Tenafly Chabad Academy students are working hard to prepare for Pesach, with all grades learning all about the laws of Pesach. Middle schoolers have been creating their own beautiful personalized Haggadahs, eager to showcase their hard work at the seder. In addition, they have been relishing in the process of crafting delicious charoset.

Not to be outdone, first graders have been equally dedicated, putting their creative skills to the test by making their own personalized Haggadahs for use at both their family Seders and the model Seder held at school.

Rabbi Grossbaum from the Living Legacy visited Tenafly Chabad Academy’s lower school to teach the students about the process of making matzah for Pesach. It was a highly engaging and informative experience. The rabbi’s lesson highlighted the importance of keeping the flour and water separate and the significance of the 18-minute timer once they were combined. The hands-on activity of making their own matzah allowed students to fully immerse themselves in the process and appreciate the hard work that goes into producing this important Pesach staple. Overall, the visit was a resounding success and left the students eagerly anticipating the upcoming holiday.
