On March 2, a special day, Dr. Seuss’s birthday came to stay,
We celebrated with books so bright, National Read Across America Week, a pure delight.
Third and fourth graders from Tenafly Chabad came by,
To read with Family of Caring residents, and catch their eye.
Together they read, with voices so clear,
Classic Dr. Seuss tales that brought joy and cheer.
The students crafted bookmarks, with love and with care,
And gifted them to the residents, with smiles to share.
The intergenerational program, a treasure so rare,
Fosters connections between ages, with love and with care.
