Culinary Kids elective is off to a creative start! Beginning with rainbow Shabbat treats for parshat Noach, students followed up with a project inspired by the tower of Bavel. The children were challenged to build various types of structures out of raw spaghetti and marshmallows. The goal was to have not only the tallest structure but also one that remained standing during the entire elective period. They used whole pieces of pasta as well as fragments, built pyramids, cubes and anything that could stand. Unfortunately, results were too fragile to bring home but they saved their creations in photos and enjoyed eating the marshmallows when they were done!
