Eighth-grade students from Tenafly Chabad Academy recently showcased their STEAM projects to residents at the Family of Caring in Tenafly. After learning about the six simple machines, the students used their creative skills to design their own unique inventions. Among the impressive projects were a vegetable cutter, a screwdriver, a tablecloth cleaner, a wood chopper and a forensics science helper.
The residents were captivated by the creativity and ingenuity of the students’ projects and had the opportunity to test them out for themselves. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their skills and for the residents to experience firsthand the innovative ideas that young minds can generate. The event served as a reminder of the importance of STEAM education and the positive impact it can have on both students and their communities.
