Tenafly Chabad Academy students had an amazing Chanukah week. It started even before Chanukah, with Mivtzaim (Mitzvah Campaign) to the local Tenafly community, followed by an amazing pre-Chanukah oneg Shabbat.

TCA loves sharing Chanukah with its neighbors, the residents of Family of Caring. First graders gave a musical performance for the residents and eighth graders played Chanukah games with them. The first to fourth grades started Chanukah with a Day of Play! Everyone had a blast playing their games from home with their friends in school.

The fabulous Chanukah programs continued with younger students enjoying a really fun bounce house and an amazing Chanukah Glow in the Dark DJ Party. Meanwhile middle school students got to try out Kangaroo Shoes! They had a blast bouncing all over the school gym and even the administration got into the bounce of things. Middle school students also had a fun bowling trip. Then the whole school received Chanukah inspiration and gelt from Rabbi Shain.

Middle school ended the week with a carnival for the preschool and lower school students, after which they had an inspirational Chanukah oneg led by Rabbi Scheinfeld. Added to all this fun was a ton of candy and jelly doughnuts that everyone enjoyed in school this week.
