Tenafly Chabad Academy’s seventh and eighth graders were treated to a special Drone Olympics program thanks to the Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education (CIJE).

The goal of the CIJE-Tech Drone Exhibit is to introduce seventh and eighth grade students to the exciting science of drone flight while developing solutions to real world problems through collaboration with fellow students.

Tenafly Chabad Academy students analyzed an obstacle course and programmed their drones to autonomously complete the course. They had an amazing time working on their computers, measuring the course and flying their drones. It was a very exciting and educational program, and students look forward to doing more with CIJE throughout the year.
