Tenafly Chabad Academy seventh and eighth grade students worked on a “Survivor” activity in anticipation of their next class novel, “Lord of the Flies” by William Golding. In this collaborative project, the students considered what skills and qualities are integral to a burgeoning civilization that started from scratch. They were asked to consider what rules would be established as the foundation of their new island society and how each member may contribute to the newly formed community.
