On My 30, Tenafly Chabad Academy hosted its annual art show and fundraiser as an end of year celebration of the school’s fabulous art program. Over the course of the school year, the children learned about various artists and artistic styles. Under the guidance of the talented Morah Estyn Becker, the students studied artists of all genres, including Monet, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Matisse, Andy Warhol and more. After learning about a particular artist, the students created their own unique pieces in the style of that artist. All year long, student artwork was displayed on the walls of the school and on our school Instagram page, @tcaartists. The recent art show was a culmination of a year of incredible learning and an acknowledgement that every student is an artist. Each student displaying multiple works, and one piece per student was professionally framed and displayed for purchase. The students’ pride at seeing their artwork in a frame was contagious! It was a wonderful event for parents and students alike.
