There are truly no words to capture the spiritual energy and beauty of the incredible event held at Tenafly Chabad Academy Friday morning. Grades 1—4 students along with their amazing teachers led a breathtaking Oneg Shabbat: Songs of Unity and Light, opening with a heartfelt prayer for our IDF soldiers—setting a tone of strength, connection, and compassion.

What followed was nothing short of magical. The children’s voices rose in unison, filling the room with songs that radiated light, faith, and togetherness. Their ruach was contagious, lifting hearts and bringing many to tears with their sincerity and joy.

Following the singing, TCA marked two cherished milestones:

Grade 1 students received their very first Siddurim, beginning their journey into Jewish prayer.

Grade 2 students were gifted their first Chumashim, taking their next step in Torah learning.

It was a morning of deep pride, spiritual uplift, and communal celebration—a beautiful reminder of the power of tradition, unity, and the light our children bring into the world.
