In preparation for Sukkot, TCA middle school students had the opportunity to learn about the arba minim in a hands-on and interactive way. Led by Rabbi Shain, the students learned the difference between an Israeli etrog and an Italian etrog—where most lulavim, hadasim and aravot come from—what the lulav represents and how to create their own lulav rings to tie the species together.
