Tenafly Chabad Preschoolers learned all about the mitzvah of hachnasat orchim in Parshat Vayeira. They learned that Avraham’s tent had four doors to welcome guests from each direction. They role-played the story of when Avraham welcomed the three angels to his tent. They practiced washing their guests’ feet and giving them food just as Avraham and Sarah did. Classes spent the week inviting each other to their classrooms for snack and Shabbat parties and created welcome signs for their homes.
