(CMEK) The Tenafly fourth grade girls captured the Army Division championship in BTBL. In the semifinal, behind a total team effort, the team destroyed the River Vale Ravens 33-13. This setup a show-down against the top challenger the Fair Lawn Cutters. In the final, the Tigers trailed 12-9, but roared back to take a 13-12 lead which they held to win the game. Tenafly was the only girls team in all of Bergen County to go undefeated in BTBL finishing with a perfect 16-0 record.
