I am writing in response to last week’s letter to the editor, “Disappointed” (March 2, 2023).

I am writing as a mom. No intimidating letters after my name or intimidating words in my letter. I am not a bully. I don’t insist it is “my way or the highway.” I believe in dialogue, in discourse. I want to hear what other viewpoints are on a myriad of topics!

Thank you, Jewish Link, for allowing us to discuss community issues here, for making it accessible for all to read, decipher, and decide for oneself what is in the best interest of one’s health.

And, thank you for giving a voice not only to “professionals,” but to people that genuinely want to know, to grow, and to live with transparency. Knowledge is power. Shutting people up, and shutting conversations (or ads) down is not what we stand for in America.
