I want to thank Murray Sragow for his recent article “An Unusual Pesach at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh” (May 7, 2020). As the parents of two sons who attended KBY this year and chose to stay for Pesach and kayitz z’man, we are so grateful for all that KBY has done for its talmidim. They have gone above and beyond what any other hesder and non-hesder yeshiva has done during this time, while simultaneously following all of the guidelines and protocols set forth by the Israeli government. Their commitment to providing minyanim, learning and a unique Pesach experience for the talmidim was unbelievable. I am very thankful to the rebbeim and staff for all that they have done—it was a Herculean task that they undertook and administered. They should be zocheh to see tremendous blessing for supporting the uninterrupted Torah learning and davening b’tzibur throughout this challenging time period.
