(BFL) Another fall season of BFL football concluded this past Sunday at Benjamin Franklin Middle School in Teaneck.
The younger groups kicked off the final week with competitive games and were then treated to some post-game hot chocolate for braving the cold. Many of the players were celebrating the conclusion of their debut season and are looking forward to returning to the gridiron next year.
The final games in the older division saw Coaches Ezra Alter (TABC ‘24) and Shimon Ross (TABC ‘23) catapulting their respective teams to championship glory. MVP honors were earned by JJ Heisler (fifth grade, SAR) and Nate Brotsky (sixth grade, He’Atid).
Congratulations to all the players on a season of skill, athleticism and sportsmanship. BFL returns to Benjamin Franklin Middle School in March. Players in grades one through six are invited to join the league which will play from 11 a.m. -12 p.m. on Sunday from March through May.
