Each year before Sukkot, Moriah fifth grade art classes create beautiful paper chains to decorate their own sukkot at home and to deliver to the Englewood Children’s Hospital for their sukkah. They learned that as they connect each individual chain into one long chain, it symbolizes joining together as one nation—achdut Bnei Yisrael. As Jews, we are each links in the chain of tradition that stretches back to biblical times.
