The Drink Up Jewish Link Sportstar Of the Week: Zachary Cohen

The Jewish Link and Drink Up would like to recognize Zachary Cohen as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The 14-year-old, Yeshivat Noam eighth grader is a goalie on the Noam Knights hockey team and a key contributor on the Bergen County Flag Football League 7/8 Patriots. Two weeks ago, Cohen showed his versatility with five touchdown receptions and five interceptions in a single game. BCFL Co-Commissioner Rabbi Avi Rosalimsky told The Jewish Link, “Zachary Cohen is the kind of kid that every coach wants on his team. His love of sports and his dedication to working hard on the one hand, coupled with his positive demeanor and fun personality on the other hand are just a few of the reasons why.”
