The Drink Up Jewish Link Sportstar of the Week: Zoey Levy

The Jewish Link and Drink Up would like to recognize Zoey Levy as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The 13-year-old, an eighth grader at The Moriah School in Englewood, won the coveted Hustle & Heart award, which is the highest honor at Hustle & Heart camp. This award goes to the player who represents the Hustle & Heart brand and is the ideal player. Not only is this player a proficient scorer, she is also a leader on the court and makes her teammates better. Hustle & Heart Director Shana Steinmetz told The Jewish Link, “Zoey Levy embodies this award. Zoey was in the middle school division but when she played, the entire camp came to watch. Her handles are insane; She can score at will but even more impressive is that she makes her teammates shine. Her team went undefeated and was the division’s league champion. At least two other players scored in double digits consistently due to Zoey’s countless assists. Her personal drive and passion to win spilled onto her teammates which led the team to bring home the championship. When Zoey’s name was called when she won the award, the entire camp cheered for her which solidified how much Zoey Levy represents the Hustle & Heart brand.”
