The Humble Toast Sportstar of the Week: Gabriel Kahane

The Jewish Link and The Humble Toast would like to recognize Gabriel Kahane as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Yeshivat He’Atid seventh grader is one of the starters on the undefeated 8-0 He’Atid Hurricanes Soccer team. When asked about Gabriel, He’Atid Hurricanes Soccer coach Lance Friedman told the Jewish Link “Though Gabriel is only a seventh grader, he has already established himself as a key contributor to our team. His ball control and dribbling ability allow him to draw defenders in, holding possession just long enough to find the open man and deliver a perfectly timed pass—often with a touch of brilliance. Despite regularly being matched up against the toughest opponents, Gabriel shows remarkable toughness and resilience. He takes the hits, gets back up, and keeps pushing forward with determination and heart.”
