The Jewish Link and The Humble Toast would like to recognize Jack Blumenthal as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The Moriah fourth grader helped lead the Bergen County Flag Football League’s La Cucina Di Nava Giants to a perfect regular season record. When asked about his quarterback, Giants Co-Coach Solomon Hagler told The Jewish Link, “Jack showed his ability to be a complete player for our BCFL teams over the last two fall seasons. As the star QB and defensive anchor, his ability both as a player and a leader, helped guide our team to numerous victories, including one undefeated regular season and one championship season. What sets him apart is his ability to see the moment in front of him regardless of what is going on around him. No matter how chaotic the play or how intense the game, Jack remains calm and has the confidence and plan to lead his team.”
