The Jewish Link and The Humble Toast would like to recognize Orly Hoffer as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The sixth grader at Yeshivat Noam is coming off an amazing MGBL MVP season where she led her team to the championship and an undefeated season. When asked about Hoffer, coaches Jason Beckoff and Aaron Neufeld told The Jewish Link, “Orly is not only a tremendous scorer but a willing passer, tenacious defender and sneaky good rebounder. She is the true definition of unselfish. She always has been willing to give up a shot to get her teammates a better shot.” Yeshivat Noam basketball coach Leora Sulimanoff added, “Orly is a great player who always wants to do her best.
