Purim was in the air this week at The Idea School! The school held a Purim celebration that began with a shiur about Purim and Megillat Esther followed by a specially designed Escape the Room adventure, with all clues stemming directly from the shiur. The students quickly found their way back to Shushan Habira where a costume contest and faculty made Purim shpiel video awaited them. And of course, no celebration at The Idea School would be complete without a signature maker challenge. The students were then tasked with building the gallows out of maker space materials and also to come up with a unique maker space costume. The designs, as usual, were incredible and creative! Throughout the week, students planned various dress up days that added to the fun and excitement of Chag Purim. It was truly amazing to see the Purim spirit ignited and the “smiles” behind the masks.
