The Idea School had a blast celebrating Purim last week with a student-led costume contest, selfie and game stations, a Purim shtick video and, of course, hamantashen and candy. Highlights from the costume contest were ninth grader Eli-L Singer’s calculator costume, which he programmed to work and ninth grader Yael Benzaquen’s Cupid costume, which she accompanied with arrows she programmed to fly. Students also enjoyed seeing their faculty dress up—especially as each other! Happy Purim 5783!
