In honor of Rosh Chodesh Shevat, The Idea School was proud to dedicate a new shtender, built and crafted by one of the freshmen students. As part of their inquiry class in which students’ interests and passions drive their learning, this student’s skill and passion for woodworking as well as his dedication to tefillah came together in the design and and construction of this beautiful and useful addition to thesSchool. The shtender was displayed at The Idea School Digital Exhibition of Learning this past week and is now being used during morning tefillah and in the beit midrash on a regular basis.
