After holding the last three Exhibitions of Learning online through the pandemic, The Idea School was thrilled to host this semester’s Spring Exhibition of Learning 2021 live and in-person on Monday evening June 7. Exhibition occurs at the end of each semester in an event that welcomes parents and guests to view the students’ work and engage with their learning. The Spring Exhibition took place in the beautiful outdoor grounds at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades where a crowd of parents, guests and prospective students and families came together to celebrate the students’ rich and deep learning in areas such as humanities, beit midrash, science, Hebrew, engineering, democratic inquiry and financial literacy. No amount of rain or thunderstorms earlier in the day deterred this crowd from coming back together in person after over a year on screens.
