The Idea School JV Basketball Team Debuts in Yeshiva League

(Courtesy of The Idea School) The Idea School played the first-ever Yeshiva League basketball game yesterday afternoon at The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades on Sunday October 27, versus Hillel. It was a great back and forth game with Hillel taking the early lead and The Idea School coming back to take the lead in the third quarter.

The Idea School team drew and impressed a growing crowd of fans and proved to be a strong force on the court ending the game at a 46-40 score in favor of the Hillel Heat. With a strong start to the season, the team is gearing up for the next exciting series of games.

Leading scorers for The Idea School were Albert Benatar with 14 including four 3s, Gabe Shein with 13 points and 15 boards and freshman Shimmy Weinberger with seven points.
