Led by science teacher Sarah Bartges, The Idea School recognized Earth Day this past week. In honor of this day that celebrates the Earth and nature’s beauty, The Idea School students planted flowers and plants in the JCC gardens; played Garbage Games, a kind of recycling Olympics; upcycled materials from the Maker Space into art; and made “mud pies,” ice cream sundaes with some Earth Day-related toppings.
