The Idea School launched the first of its STEAM and CHAGIM workshops on Sunday September 11, at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades Fall Expo. People of all ages got to experience the fun of making and creating—by designing their own Rosh Hashanah cards that they were able to light up learning the concepts of circuitry. The STEAM and CHAGIM program will span the year and have participants learning about the Jewish holidays and experiencing the fun of STEAM—science, technology, engineering, art and math. The next of these workshops is expected to take place around Chanukah.
