This was not just any freshmen welcome event. The soon to be Idea School students jumped right in to project-based learning with a fun and creative entrepreneurship maker challenge. Students came together in groups to collaborate on a product they engineered and pitched it to a group of faculty and future classmates at the Idea School Young Entrepreneurs Conference, otherwise known as ISYEC. The students then did a gallery walk of some famous quotes by Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks. Students were asked to pick the ones that resonated with them. The evening ended with pizza, Idea School swag and enjoying being outside on the JCC’s beautiful grounds. Students are already excited to come together in the fall as The Idea School Class of 2025!
