Now in its second year, The Idea School welcomed it’s new ninth grade class of 24 and 10th grade class of 21 students. Diving right into projects, sophomores will learn the laws of kashrut and ethical business practices and will run their own food truck as part of their Judaic studies curriculum. Freshmen will begin their humanities and earth and environmental science curriculum with an integrated approach to studying origins of the universe through The Big History Project. And in engineering and entrepreneurship, both grades developed an idea for a product, built a prototype and pitched to a mini Shark Tank.
