Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

I always imagine interns as being given the scut work of their superiors. Bringing the coffee or filing papers is what I have seen left for those young kids needing work experience over the summer. While these are certainly honest and respectable skills to hone, they may not target the specific needs of the young people looking to declare their majors or determine their life paths. This summer, I have noticed all of your superb interns writing articles of interest with skill and passion. Noah Motechin’s fascinating series on zoo residents is beautifully written, exciting and hilarious! In this past issue, Noah also highlighted his fellow interns, ensuring they each had their moment to shine. I could not get enough. It is a credit to JLNJ that Noah and his friends have the opportunity to write and share, to express what they like and maybe do not enjoy, and that they are not just the “shleppers” that interns often are.

Kol hakavod to The Jewish Link and to Shira, Dina, Hannah, Eitan, Daniel and Noah!
