The Jewish Historical Society is excited to host Martin Schneit, a lifelong New Yorker, historian and licensed New York City tour guide, to present “Jewish New York” on Sunday, July 24 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Schneit has spent his adult life lecturing at a variety of institutions in the New York area about all aspects of Jewish life.
In “Jewish New York,” Marty will cover subjects ranging from Sholom Aleichem, Brighton Beach and the
Brownsville Girls to Yeshiva University, Henry Youngman, Zabar’s, and of course, the origin of the egg cream.
