(Courtesy of The Jewish Home Family) The Jewish Home Foundation, the philanthropic supporting arm of the not-for-profit elder care organization The Jewish Home Family, has announced that its 26th Annual Golf, Tennis and Card Outing will be held in a virtual format on Monday, July 20, at 5:45 p.m.
This unbelievably successful annual event provides funding to offset operational expenses in order to assist The Jewish Home Family in providing the highest quality of care to elders in the community. This year, with the extraordinary costs associated with the COVID-19 emergency, this philanthropic support is crucial “now more than ever.”
The one-hour virtual event will feature a welcome by Ira Robbins, president and CEO of Valley National Bank—the presenting sponsor. Featured speakers will include sports personalities Gary Bettman, NHL commissioner; former New York Giant Super Bowl XXV MVP O. J. Anderson; and New York Knicks Legend John Starks. The event will also include cameo appearances by Tom Arnold, Luke Donald, Bethenny Frankel and Ice-T.
