The 3’s and pre-k classes at the Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School at Congregation AABJ&D, learned about tashlich and then took class walking trips to a creek to do tashlich for themselves. Each child took a turn saying “I’m sorry” and throwing a piece of bread into the water. The teachers spoke to them about making better choices in this new year and doing mitzvot—and letting their friends know about them when they bring in mitzvah notes.
