The children of The Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School celebrated Earth Day on April 22. Each class discussed different ways to help the planet stay healthy and clean. As a whole school, all students changed the Kindness Tree, from Tu B’Shvat and the way we can be kind to others, to ways we can be kind to our planet, Earth. Each child decorated their own band-aids and then the Morahs helped them write one way we can be kind to the planet. They hung all of the band-aids on the communal tree bulletin board to remind everyone to be kind to the planet. The children also enjoyed playing outside and exploring new things in their natural environment and building with recycled materials in honor of Earth Day.
