The children of The Lauren Elise Bier Nursery School had so much fun celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut. Each class learned about Israel, the colors of its flag and all of the amazing things it has to offer. The children each decorated their own Israeli flag and visor which they used at the school wide celebration. Everyone gathered together, socially distant of course, to sing, dance and sing “Hatikvah.” The celebration continued with an Israeli style lunch of falafel, pizza, hummus, veggies, pickles and blue and white cookies.
