In honor of Yom Ha’Atzmaut, early childhood students embarked on a fun-filled journey to explore Israel! Students’ imaginations took flight as they “boarded” an airplane and landed in Tel Aviv, where they indulged in delicious ice cream and sampled tasty treats at the shuk. They then traveled to the Kotel to leave heartfelt notes and got creative with blue and white bracelets, capturing the colors of the Israeli flag. To cap off the adventure, they joined their friends in a lively parade, waving colorful Israeli flags with joy. It was a day filled with laughter, learning and celebrating the vibrant spirit of Israel!

Lower and middle school students had an incredible experience celebrating Yom Ha’Atzamut. They started off the day enjoying a fantastic daglanut performance by fifth grade followed by a fun dance by fourth graders! Students then went on to enjoy pita at Mafiat Moriah, ice cream at Golda, digginglike archeologists in Ir David, and playing games at Cinema City. Bnot Sheirut added a tremendous amount of ruach to the chagigas and everyone danced with Israeli flags. The day ended with an entire department-wide Hallel. Am Yisrael Chai!
