(Courtesy of The Moriah School) On Motzei Shabbat, February 29, Moriah families, friends and faculty gathered at Envue (Weehawken) to celebrate the 55th annual Moriah School dinner.
The Moriah annual dinner is one of the highlights of the year. A fun and joyous event, the dinner is an opportunity for the Moriah community to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of the past year as a school and community. Moriah is very proud of the large percentage of parents who support and participate in the annual dinner every year.
This year’s honorees were Cheryl and Evan Borenstein, guests of honor; Ayelet (’93) and Brian (’93) Rosen, Alumni Leadership Award; Rachel Tkatch, Hakarat Hatov Award; and Robin Fishman and Morah “Sara” Sharon Weiskopf, Rabbi J. Shelley Applbaum, z”l, Service Award.
Each of these honorees has made a significant impact on Moriah and the community at large and is most deserving of this recognition. The Moriah annual dinner is the school’s primary fundraiser and plays a vital role in ensuring that Moriah is fiscally strong and able to continue to provide a top-quality education for all of their children.
Moriah thanks everyone who joined them in making their night a success.
